I started out just loving the way a camera could hold onto a moment that would've otherwise disappeared the second it happened. 11 years later that's still exactly what keeps me showing up.
I'm a mom of four, a little bit ADHD, and about as laid back as a person can be while still being completely locked in on your wedding day. I'm not going to hand you a 47 pose shot list or make you feel like you're performing for a camera. I'm going to show up, pay attention, and catch what's actually happening in front of me.
That's the whole job and I genuinely love every part of it.
I didn't start out chasing weddings specifically.

When I'm not photographing weddings you'll probably find me out on our farm with our kids, my husband, and more acres than I sometimes know what to do with.
There's something about being rooted to a piece of land that feels the same to me as being rooted to the people in front of my camera, like you're witnessing something real and alive and completely its own.
